FROM MALTA TO GOZO When searching for an English Language School in Malta – don’t forget that the beautiful island of Gozo is readily accessible. To cross from Malta to Gozo there is a regular ferry service that carries passengers and cars between the two islands. You take the boat at Cirkewwa at the northern tip of Malta and you land in Mgarr Harbour in Gozo. The crossing takes about 30 minutes. You buy your two-way ticket in Cirkewwa; no ticket is bought in Mgarr to return to Malta.
GETTING AROUND GOZO By bus: The Mgarr/Victoria service follows the ferry timetable. A bus leaves Victoria exactly half an hour before the ferry leaves Mgarr. From the same bus terminus in Victoria, several buses go to a number of villages and beaches around Gozo. When attending an English Language School in Malta many students enjoy this mode of transport as the buses are quaint and fares are very low.
By taxi: Taxis are white. There are taxi stands at the bus terminus, in Marsalforn and Mgarr.
By car: This is the best way to discover Gozo. Driving in Malta and Gozo is on the left. National or international driving licences are accepted. You can also hire bicycles, mountain bikes, scooters and motorbikes as well.
FROM GOZO TO COMINO At Mgarr you can find several boats which will take visitors to Comino throughout the day.
