Leisure Activities

IH Gozo offers an organised leisure programme to students, which allows them to enjoy the beauty of the island.  Although we organise standard leisure activities, this is not to say that we do not cater for special requests or that our programme is rigid. Our leisure activities are designed for small groups and for the adult learner. Therefore, if clients decide they would like to change venue or ask for a different activity, we, at IH Malta-Gozo readily comply as the island offers a variety of  unique possibilities which are only a phone call away.

Our leisure programme usually starts at 15.00Hrs as, by then, most of our students have finished their lesson programme for the day. The activities chosen are designed to last for at least three hours through the afternoon; enough time for relaxation before returning to their families or friends for dinner and, possibly, their homework.

On Monday, after initial testing and lessons, students are taken around the capital (Victoria); they are shown around the commercial centre, bus terminus and Citadel (the old Capital city of Gozo).  In order to help students to get to know other students, on Monday evening students enjoy a social evening.

Apart from the social programme, IH Gozo offers a fitness room and sauna. Students can hire bicycles which give them the opportunity of  taking a more intimate view of the island.
